Part FIVE: Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park in Florida

Continuing with the lovely scenes and birds and animals
at the
Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park
in Florida.

I can never get over the beauty of these birds with their "flowing hair":

A Great Heron amongst the Spanish-mossed trees:

A Great Heron at the nest. Oh, how I wish I could've seen heron babies!!:

Do you know the Cormorants spread their wings like this to cool off?

They had a little underground tunnel to observe the fish as they swam underwater!:

"Who you lookin' at??":

Oh God!!
Wood Ducks!:
(Be still my heart!)

I am convinced THE FORCE decided to make the most beautiful duck one day,
so they dipped in a bunch of bright, beautiful paint cans and used every color in the rainbow--
and decided to make the Wood Duck and the Harlequin Duck!:

A whole TON of white Ibis just hanging out in the bushes!:

I may take a break tomorrow
and show you some more snow pictures, because I am sure many of you already have Spring in your
area and I don't want to forget to post the rest of the snow pictures I have from this winter.
Then, after the snow blogposts, I will get back to more Florida photos for you!

Short Hairstyles

If you want to wear your hair short, pay close attention to your face shape, build and style of dress before deciding how to cut your hair. Short Pixie hairstyle is best on round and square face shapes because the longer pieces towards the front help to add needed angles to the face. Girls with oval shape face should avoid the short shag. Short bobs hairstyle are so versatile it suits every shape of face. If your face is round, you can go for the longer cut. Below are some short hairstyles pictures to inspire your short hair style.

Textured short hairstyles are meant to offer the hair versatility and a great amount of style. The hair is cut in a way that allows the hair to receive a well textured appearance which looks fabulous and sexy. Short hair is definitely not the most popular cuts but short hairstyles do have a lot of perks with the level of care needed and the variety of cute and flirty styles available. The problem with a shorter cut is that women feel a lack of safety because longer hair seems to provide a shield whereas shorter hair opens up the facial area more including any areas we are uncomfortable with. The mature woman however will neither go for the flipped out Short Hairstyles nor the A-line bobbed hairstyle. Instead she looks for a hairstyle for her hair that is conservative but not severe; trendy but not flamboyant; manageable but not plain. The short bob with a high crown and low side is ideal for the mature woman with the long thin face.

Here they Are! March's FREE PHOTO CONTEST Entries: Theme: RED

What a wonderful response to our FREE PHOTO CONTEST
this month!

We had a ton of entries*, and that makes me so happy.

TWENTY FIVE!!

The most entries of any contest so far.

March's theme was:

RED

(*If you entered a photo into the contest and do NOT see it listed below, please contact me IMMEDIATELY so that I can repost/correct this post before showing it to my judges.)

Some look a little more PINK than RED, but hey, pink is a derivative of RED, so they were
gladly accepted in the contest.  Besides, everyone's computer monitors register differently
when it comes to colors, so I decided pink or red was ok!!

So, sit down, concentrate and reallllly look at the RED beauties that we got in our
contest this time!
