Some Hummers!

Since I have learned a LITTLE during my one day photography class, I have been playing with shutter speed.

What better to practice on, but hummingbirds????

My goal was to capture them in "freeze frame" in some photos and in "blurred" flight in some others. I need to still practice on lighting effects, etc. but one thing at a time.

So, here are a bunch of photos I took of my little hummers at my feeders.

I would have loved to catch one in my apple blossoms, but I have not been able to be close enough to them when it occurs.
