Harrison Ford

Harrison Ford fans were re-living the actor's 1981 classic 'Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark' yesterday (12th June 2011), 30 years after its release. It's been three decades since Harrison Ford donned the fedora hat for the movie that many still regard as the finest of the actor's distinguished career. Some fans celebrated by sending in images of themselves dressed as 'Indiana' to Usa Today.
Since 'Raiders' in 1981, Ford reprised his role as Jones for 'The Temple of Doom' in 1984, 'The Last Crusade' in 1989 and most recently, 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' in 2008. Plans for a fifth movie are already underway, with actor Shia Labeouf confirming that Ford is back in the gym. Speaking at last weekend's Mtv Movie Awards, he said, "I talked to Harrison Ford. He said he's staying in the gym, he said he's heard no word, but he does know that George Lucas is out there looking for a MacGuffin. He said he's staying in the gym, so it means the movie is not so far off". 'Raiders', directed by Steven Spielberg, followed Indiana's attempts to stop the Nazis reaching the Ark of the Covenant, which Adolf Hitler believed would make their army invincible. The movie, nominated for eight Academy Awards, still remains one of the highest grossing pictures of all time.
Harrison Ford recently completed work on Jon Favreau's forthcoming action-thriller 'Cowboys & Aliens', about a spaceship that arrives in Arizona in 1873. The movie also stars Daniel Craig and OLIVIA WILDE.
