White, Yellow, Pink and Green and Birds and Dragonflies in between!

Continuing with the spring photos today..

and some late spring ones too.

I love the bright, sunny colors that the new plants and

flowers bring to spring.

Especially the bright, neon green of fresh growth and the sunny yellows, bright pinks and bright whites...

Marsh Marigolds (cowslips):

New apple blossoms sprouting on our apple trees:

(at the time this posts, those blossoms are now apples growing, about the size of a large quarter already!)

Chipping sparrow at our feeders (just threw that in because with Spring, comes all KINDS of birds to our feeders!):

I always know it is getting warmer when I see that

the

dragonflies have hatched!:

I loved this log full of mushrooms overhanging a field full of fresh white

Bright green, unfurling ferns!:

Mother Nature really does a good job of putting fresh flowers

and colors on its table for us after a long, drab

winter, doesn't she??

I'd like to invite her over to help me do my delayed spring cleaning...

Springtime at home in the U.P.! : A Series of Signs: Part ONE

When you live in the U.P. (upper peninsula) of Michigan...

way north, directly across Lake Superior from Canada...

you have long, long, cold winters with tons of snow.

So,

when Spring arrives

it is a true celebration!

I look forward to every single sign

that the glorious season

has indeed, arrived.

So, I will be posting some of the

"Thank GOD, Spring has really, finally and absolutely arrived!"

photos of the things I am glad to see every spring here.

Yes, I am even happy when I see the dandelions come up:

Daffodils...the first flower that usually blooms in my garden (but next year I think I will plant crocuses too!):

Cherry blossoms! (The always come before my apple blossoms, which are just starting to peek out now):

His beak is all messy from seed...he's hungry! After all, he had to fly all the way this far north!!:
