We have some grackles that stop by the feeder now and then.
And, some chipping sparrows.
And, an occasional hummingbirds at dusk.
And, a few robins.
But we hear the melodious sounds of the little house wrens every morning and night.
While sitting on our front porch swing the other night, the house wrens were singing so close we knew they were right in our apple trees next to our porch.
Sure enough, pretty soon we saw them hopping from tree to tree, chirping constantly and LOUDLY like they were excited about something.
Then we saw one checking out our bird house, maybe for occupancy:
He was looking in the bird house, checking it over:
I don't know..he was saying. It looks a little old and dingy inside!:
Excuse my behind, but I gotta get a better look before I decide to rent this place!:
Nope, I don't want this condo...I am OUTTA here!:
Maybe if I sit on the branch and advertise that I am looking for an apartment here in this neighborhood, someone will hear me?:
I will just start bringing in my furniture RIGHT NOW, I am so excited!!:
